Noam Chomsky states that the “new NATO” that came about after the collapse of the Soviet Union is in reality a US-run intervention force.
“Its mission changed. The official mission of NATO became to control the international, the global energy system, pipelines. That means, to control the world,” Chomsky states.
He goes further to state that the actions of NATO could spark nuclear war and that the world is, in fact, ‘ominously close to nuclear war’.

Ha ha ha … in March 2003 in California I was also (frequently) stopped by Police and my car (which was full of camping stuff) was a bit searched, but with that at the time where the 2nd Irak war started, I had no problem with that attitude (which also can be good e.g. if somewhere really some terrorist assault would happen who are always trying to frame innocent people by using equally looking cars etc.) – but once when stopped .(somewhere near a national park or so) I had just bought a model engine motor in a toy store and the brand-name of that airplane model engine is “Magnum” and when I opened my big Lincoln Town car’s (Model “Mafia” dark blue with tinted black rear windows) trunk lid for the cops that brandnew big red cardboard box was sitting bright and shiny on top of my clothes and tent etc. and I was really shivering that the cop perhaps new those very common model airplane engines and realized in the fraction of a second which he normally has for thinking in such situations thathe box was much too small for a 45 Magnum handgun. (I suppose he was informed beforehand by the Storekeeper, at least that was what I was telling to myself in order not to fill my pants).
