Project Veritas has done a fine job of uncovering information the DNC, Hillary Clinton, and virulently anti-Trump groups would prefer had remained secret. As an example, they’ve discovered that:
Left-wing activists are allegedly planning on using stink bombs and the sprinkler system to disrupt an official event for Donald Trump. The event is the Deploraball, a grass roots event being held on Thursday.
Clearly illegal, though in of itself, throwing stink bombs is not the most heinous crime one could commit. But suppose that in messing with the sprinkler system they set off a panic where people get hurt, or possibly killed. Now things turn much more serious.
Closing down roads and metro lines is serious to begin with. Not only do such acts impede the normal flow of traffic and transportation, but can prevent life-saving units from getting to those needing help — again, with potentially dire consequences. And disrupting the metro lines is defined as an act of terrorism by statutes, and carries penalties of 20-years in prison, and worse if someone gets killed.
Groups like DisruptJ20 are nothing more than domestic terror organizations. They just don’t have the big bombs and rockets like the big guys — or so we hope. But leaders of these groups are instructing their followers on when it is appropriate to punch people in the throat — as though that is ever appropriate unless in self-defense.
Clearly Democratic leadership is aware of all of this. The correct and appropriate response would be for Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton to publicly and boldly condemn any planned acts of violence and those who would commit such acts. The DNC should publicly distance itself from such groups and state that in committing violent acts that there is no place for them within the Democratic Party.
They should do this, but don’t hold your breath. After all, with leftists such as George Soros financing these groups, not only do they not oppose these acts of violence, but by his support and the silence of the DNC, they are actually winking at them in encouragement.
