Once a nation’s justice system is determined to have different sets of standards for different groups of people, a repudiation of that justice system is not far behind. Principles like “equal protection under the law” go out the window, and a biting cynicism and even contempt for those government officials who purport to enforce the laws sets in.
Such is the case with so many issues surrounding Hillary Clinton that one scarcely knows where to start. That Hillary has broken numerous laws with impunity is obvious to anyone who cares to look. What is turning this into a national disgrace is the blatant corruption of the legal process that allows her to continue on in her quest to be president while anyone else would be under prosecution.
It’s back to the email scandal and the failure of the FBI to do its job on page two.

Anthony Brothers, the Argument is that because she resigned, she’s immune from impeachment proceedings based solely on the fact that she no longer occupies the office; therefore, no office in which she can be removed.
That’s obviously a political stunt to clutter the clarity of the legal process to disqualify her eligibility.
The corruption runs deep.
Bob Seniah The issue you brought up wasn’t impeachment but the mishandling of classified information. So pick a subject and stick with it. As far as impeaching someone after they have resigned that is also false. Impeachment is used to remove them from office. If they have already done so then you can not impeach them however you can charge them. I don’t write the laws. I just know what they are. Perhaps alittle more research is in order to back up your claims. Perhaps so Supreme Court rulings etc
I don’t think breathtaking is the right word…criminal is the word and the criminals responsible should be arrested if any of the rest of us are to have any respect for the laws that this limp and ineffective congress passes
Anthony Brothers, it’s your though compass that’s, obviously, spinning out of control–maybe pay closer attention to detail! I’m on topic, the issue, clearly, is your ability to follow logic!
You brought up the claim the 18 USC 2071 isn’t as clear as I’m claim–likewise, I didn’t write the law…
Therefore, I explained how the law is clear, the argument of its Constitutionally is not.
Article II Section IV of the United States Constitution identifies the process to disqualify. And that the Constitution allows Congress the ability to disqualify from future office as part of the sentence in impeachment proceedings.
Furthermore, I addressed the impeachment process argument in my post which you regurgitate in yours as though I’ve claimed to the contrary–clearly an oversight on your part! The fact thatthe argument completely ignores the crimes committed while in office is, as I stated, “completely absurd!”
Bob Seniah Actually Congress doesn’t have the authority to do what you claimed. Who is and isn’t allowed to run for elected office was dealt with when the Consitution was written. There is no law preventing a convicted felon from being President for example.
Time to Clean House Jan. 20th
Bob Seniah The right to decide who can or can not be elected to public office is a right held by the people not Congress. It requires a Constitutional amendment.
Hell yes dig deep enough and the truth is evident that we have traitors besides Obama and Hillary.
Arrest, prosecute and hang !
