I can’t stand this sort of half-assed reporting by our media. Saying local police doesn’t mean a thing. Which police where? I don’t know of any. It sounds like a BS local bent that DoD have made them available but there probably aren’t any takers. I believe the police can use an MRAP effectively in certain situations, but that the military shouldn’t demand the BS ‘use it or lose it’ addendum in offering this sort of equipment.
