Then there was the alleged bombshell that the Pope went a step further when he discussed the “failure” of Jesus’ life and the “failure of the cross.”

I am not Catholic, but I think we are over-reacting bc the pope was saying some of the seeds we plant do not look like they are bearing fruit, just as Jesus’ death on the cross seemed to look as if His mission was a failure…by human standards. The man was not blaspheming our Saviour….he was making a good point about how God uses the seeds we plant.
