The arguments by liberals justifying taking away guns from the people are constantly reshaped, but the objective is always the same. Confiscate all guns from the citizens.
The 9th Circuit Court just determined that virtually no one has the right to carry a concealed weapon in public. What is it about Libs that they cannot understand the very simple words “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed?” They will say “oh, but this is important for public safety, you can have firearms in your home for protection, just not in public.”
That is as fallacious as saying “you have the right of free speech, but only in your own home.” Come to think of it, they are trying to do away with that right as well. “You can worship as you please, but not in public, only at home.” It is all nonsense, but the push is constant, first by demanding background checks, followed by gun registration, and finally by confiscation.
Unfortunately, there are even military leaders who have bought into the unconstitutional scheme, and though their motives may be pure, they are still supporting the infringement of the constitutional rights of the public, and they should know better and stop it.
