Obama Gets Dissed Yet Again As Vietnamese Officials Blow Him Off At Airport

One of Barack Obama’s supporters’ favorite claims to make is that Obama has somehow “restored respectability” to the office of the presidency and to America’s reputation around the globe.  It appears obvious, however, from recent trips to less-than-friendly countries, that Obama’s strategy of selling out America’s allies and protecting its enemies is not winning over its friends OR its enemies.

When President Obama traveled to Cuba recently to smooth over U.S.-Cuba relations, the Castros did not bother to greet Obama upon his arrival in Havana.  Over the weekend, the president received the same treatment from another communist country — Vietnam.  The Vietnamese delegation awaiting him was made up of low-level officials.

You cannot say that the president did not at least try to cozy up to the communists in Vietnam, as — on multiple occasions — he posed in front of images of murderous former Vietnamese Dictator Ho Chi Minh.
