What does an organization do when the real numbers don’t support the agenda they are pushing?
Sometimes they fudge the numbers. Cherry pick what helps prop up the lie and ignore the real facts.
This happens so often that The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has been doing just that in order to support their biggest science scandal: global warming. Selling their brand of science, their “truth” about global warming brings in extra funding, yet their data is off by 50%.
For the past 18 years, satellites have shown no global warming, where as the “the land based data sets like the ones maintained by NOAA for the US Historical Climate Network (USHCN) continue to show a warming trend.” How can this be?
One explanation, by meteorologist Anthony Watts, shows NOAA using readings from areas that experience Urban Heat Island effect, that is instruments surrounded by buildings, roads or airports nearby which raises the temperatures due to local “environment” and not climate or weather.

Nothing new there. Climate change is real and normal. We have four seasons. and a sun spot cycle. There waas also had a mini ice age 1000 years ago. the ice core samples are values at ground level. Status at groung level does not refect the gas mixtures at altidude. Remember the ozone scare several years ago? we had ozone rotting out the car tires , but that did not fix the ozone where is was needed to cure ozone issue. The climate alarmist own words.

We try to do our part, and we are very poor consumers. Government, including and especially public education, and corporate-owned media have conditioned and addicted most of US to consumerism, while they preach conservation and thrift: save now by purchasing this; save the planet (and our economy) by consuming. It’s likely governments use these extremely confusing and divisive tactics to divert attention from more pressing issues of their mismanagement and corruption. Consider the behavior and lifestyles of our world leaders. Consider your own lifestyle. This more a political tool than a pressing issue, and the baits been taken left and right.

Louis White, believe me, I am with on being an outdoor enthusiast. I appreciate nature more than the vast majority of people on this planet. I think you’re confusing government here with private corporations. The government isn’t telling you to consume, but the big corporations sure are. You’re also not addressing the very issue of what your articles were about. You see, you say the government is spreading propaganda to sell to consumers, when here you are, spreading your own propoganda based in biased sources that aren’t at all related to factual data.
If you’re an advocate for the natural world around you, you certainly don’t seem to see the problems that persist in that world around you.
