In a commercial released earlier this week, Mattel took it upon themselves to break the wall between genders by putting a little boy in the commercial for their new “Moschino Barbie”. The worst part about the whole situation is that it doesn’t stop with the boy merely having a presence in the commercial.
They dress him up like somebody who lives in West Hollywood and has him saying things that no man (at least any straight man) would ever be caught dead saying. If the boy in the commercial really talks and acts like that, it’s either because of an agenda set by the parents or because of the national narrative that claims distinguishing gender between little boys and girls is “unnecessary” and “harmful”.
Do you know what else is unnecessary and harmful? Making a young boy believe that he wants to play with barbies. Meanwhile, the kids at this poor boy’s school are going to see the commercial on the next page and ridicule him for the rest of the life.

THAT BOY HAS ON LIP STICK
And what is the true agenda here? Kids are confused enough, so instead of giving your child a path to walk in life let’s just turn everyone into a no gender, spineless robot.
Yes, giving a child a Barbie to play with makes so much more sense then spending weekends letting them play sports! It would require time on the part of the parent
When my son was young I took care of two girls about the same age as my son. They would bring their dolls with them and they played together. I took it upon myself to buy a doll so if it became an issue they each had a doll to play with. I was a tomboy. Played sports, climbed trees, and what not with my brother and his friends but I also had girly things to play with. I wish I had been born a boy because when I got as good as the boys or better than them they didn’t want me to play with them anymore. Could run faster than the guys on the track team! They couldn’t stand being shown up by a girl. Still knew I was a girl. Wasn’t confused about my gender!
You bet!! If that’s what they’d like to do!!
I highly doubt it would make a boy gay. My brothers and I played house and the dolls were the children. They grew up, got married and had children of their own.
They might be passing that idea around. This might be a test to see how well it’s accepted and build from there!
Amen!!
I agree with you Kevin Beecher. I also think it’s okay to teach girls how to handle fire arms, etc. Can’t hurt.
I don’t have a problem if a boy joins in with girls playing or vise versa. Just don’t want them pushing this as the norm!!!! Their messing the kids up big time. Was talking with my granddaughter (11) and said your girlfriend and she responded “I’m not lesbian”! Explained to her that’s what we call are friends who are girls. Like my friend Lois is my girlfriend. Messing kids thinking up!
