New Barbie Commercial Features Boy Playing With Doll

Long gone are the days of G.I. Joe and Stretch Armstrong. Mattel is entering the gender debate in full force, their current marketing campaign aimed at little boys. With a little boy now in their Moschino Barbie commercial, dressed like a runway queen and calling the new Moschino Barbie “fierce”, it makes you wonder how parents are handling this.

Why does a corporation like Mattel feel it’s their place to tell little boys it’s okay to want to be girls? The minds of children are incredibly vulnerable at that age. It’s hard for children to develop their opinions naturally when they’re being spoon-fed this gender garbage.

This commercial comes just months after Target announced plans to do away with gender based signage in their stores. The Moschino Barbie sold out within an hour of its launch on Monday, leaving many to credit the products success on the new gender neutral advertisement. It looks like it’s not enough for society to demasculate men, now they’r targeting children, which is really the most disgusting part about the whole thing.
