Jay Familglietti, NASA’s top water scientist, recently warned that California has only a year’s supply of water left in storage facilities and the backup groundwater is rapidly depleting. Despite this harrowing fact, California has no backup plan to address this crisis.
“California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one (let alone a 20-plus-year mega-drought), except, apparently, staying in emergency mode and praying for rain,” stated Familglietti. “In short, we have no paddle to navigate this crisis.”
UPDATE: California Gov. Jerry Brown issues ineffectual, mandatory water restriction as one-third of our nation’s crops are threatened. See Page 3 for updates.

Too easy… That’s why it’s not done yet…
^ and yet another intellectual gem of a comment from a typical liberal.
Build in a desert die in the desert, New Orleans built under water a lot died under water.
Hahaha. You do remember the $700,000,000,000 bail out bush signed don’t you Ricky?
Hahaha. This Greg guy is the problem here. People not willing to look at simple hard facts. And instead run and hide behind their theological beliefs with their fingers stuck in their ear.
Where did that information come from anyway? The “problem-deflecting” democrats that run your state? Open your eyes to the hard facts.
People never listen that is why. Us Americans are so reactive. We only care after the fact…I hate that about us. That is why we can never progress as a nation nobody in decision making positions has foresight….
And New York swallows.
Funny $#%&!@*. While I’m playing a round of golf in February or laying in the cool gr$#%&!@* in July watching fireworks I will be reflecting on your lame aspersions. Peace out.
California did it to themselves. Their insane liberal regulations and environmental whackos … Combined with an open border policy is destroying Cali. Screw em.
