Cantankerous Arizona Senator John McCain hasn’t mellowed at all after his diagnosis of brain cancer following removal of a tumor.
The 81-year old has been a persistent thorn in the side of President Donald Trump, even since the president was still a candidate working for the Republican nomination. McCain has steadfastly tried to distinguish the GOP as a party with separate values from those of Trump.
McCain keeps up his steady drumbeat of anti-Trump rhetoric, knowing the mainstream media will provide him with a megaphone any time he seeks one.
On Thursday, the self-styled maverick provided an op-ed to the Washington Post that continued to stake out his position vis-à-vis the president.

The truth. McCain caused a major incident on an aircraft carrier which killed 134 sailors. Was shot down over Vietnam and earned the title songbird for aiding the enemy. Walk away from his first wife when she had cancer. Was pardoned by Nixon requested by his admiral father and grandfather. Voted against any program to find and rescue any remaining pows in Vietnam which resulted those still being held to be executed. Failed in his 2008 bid for the White House and has been pissed ever since. Sided with obama on several bills to help Americans. Ran on the platform to repeal Obamacare and twice voted to kill a bill to repeal it. Has stabbed President Trump at every chance offered. Has Cadillac health insurance vs using the VA because he knows that he’d be dead from the wait that he has blocked bills to help veterans. He doesn’t answer to the president but he does answer to the people who say

Trump is the President! All politicians should answer to Trump. Yes , they have a responsibility to those who voted for them, but he’s the head honcho! McCain is a traitor. Just because he got a presidential pardon doesn’t change a thing. His track record in the military should have been reason for a dishonorable discharge. He wrecked six planes, wet started one jet causing numerous deaths and injuries. Because he had a high ranking father and grandfather (4 star generals), he was not held accountable. When he was shot down in North Vietnam he was well treated unlike other prisoners and lied about the prisoners. Now that he is old and has terminal cancer, he should not even be in office. The brain tumor is probably affecting his thinking process. Wasn’t good to begin with. Should be removed from office!
