Hillary: We Have to “limit the numbers of people and the kinds of people who are given access to firearms”

Hillary, at the CNN debate Friday, hosted at the University of Michigan-Flint campus, responded to this question: “What will you do to address the epidemic of mass shootings in the United States?” lumping all Americans into the same basket as criminals or “killers”, who need to have access to guns limited.  She did not just focus on the gun owner, but also put sellers and “makers” in the same criminal category, saying these too must be punished for crimes committed by “killers”.

“The Brady Bill, which has been in effect now for about 23 years, has kept more than two million purchases from going forward. So we do have to continue to try to work on that because not every killer will have the same profile.”

Mrs. Clinton, every law abiding American who owns a gun is certainly not a “killer”, yet this is the rhetoric you use to answer a question about mass shootings.  Lumping American’s into the same classification as someone who would commit a heinous mass shooting is reprehensible and irresponsible.

“But comprehensive back ground checks, closing the gun show loophole, closing the online loophole, closing what’s called the Charleston loophole, where you get a gun at the end of 3 days,  even if the back ground check is not completed…”

Hillary is not content to allow any to have guns, the Brady Bill is not enough, so she proposes other means at which to take away one’s 2nd Amendment right.

Politicians like Clinton continue to propose different techniques to take away 2nd amendment rights of the people, no matter how often they are defeated at the ballot box or in the courts. Americans for Tax Reform (ATF) President Grover Norquist spoke recently on President Obama’s 2017 budget proposal and tax reform proposals from the 2016 presidential candidates. He then cited a previous comment made by Clinton and the concern he has for her reintroducing the plan should she become president.

Focusing in on Hillary Clinton’s proposals, Grover illuminates her support of a 25 percent national sales tax on guns. Clinton was asked by then-Sen. Bill Bradley (D-N.J.) if she supported the imposition of a new, 25 percent national sales tax on guns. Clinton emphatically endorsed the tax, stating: “I am all for that,”  Truth and Action reported.

Hillary continued to not answer the question, saying “I also believe so strongly that giving immunity to gun makers and sellers was a terrible mistake, because it removed an accountability, uhhh, from the makers and the sellers and disrupted what was a very promising legal theory to try to get makers to do more to make guns safer for example.

To try, to give sellers more accountability, for selling guns when they shouldn’t have.  So that is an issue that Bernie Sanders and I differ on that, he voted instate giving them immunity, but I think we should very seriously move to repeal that and go back to making sure gun makers and sellers are like any other business and they can be held accountable.”

Clinton also wants to use the UCC attack to boost her media attention, just as Obama did. She sees this as an opportunity to change the law so that shooting victims and their families can sue gun makers. As usual, just like Bengazi and her server and her emails and everything else she has done, no thought was attached to this. Duke University researcher Chris Conover has demonstrated that owning a car is “80 percent” more dangerous than owning a gun–as relates to the lives of others–Clinton said nothing about allowing crash victims and their families to sue Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, or Mercedes. Point Made.

Clinton asked, “What is wrong with us that we can’t stand up to the NRA and the gun lobby and the gun manufacturers they represent?” She is pledging to fight for these new controls and laws as president. Anything to take the focus off her deepening quagmire.

She finished NOT answering the question by stating, “And then I do think, we’ve gotta have a public, well we gotta have a public discussion, because we have created a culture in which people grab guns all the time…”  What people Hillary?   To what kind and number of people are your referring?  Those who hold that the 2nd Amendment as the law of the land and believe that the Constitution is worth stand up for?

The gun discussion has been very public, as states all over this great nation and the citizen who vote have spoken and continue to speak at the polls and in public debate that their 2nd Amendment rights cannot be tampered with.

Just answer the question asked Hillary… American citizens are not mass shooters.
