It seems like Pope Francis is determined to see that his papacy is marked by an extraordinary level of controversy, much of it generated by him within the Catholic Church itself. While the Christian faith is no stranger to theological disputes since its inception 2,000 years ago, some periods have obviously been marked by more vigorous debates than others, much to the regret of devoted adherents to the Faith.
Yet Pope Francis doesn’t seem to be troubled by being the center of some very divisive disputes, or the fact that he is the one who has created them.
He has taken a strong position in favor of open immigration, and has made statements on theology that are in direct opposition to historic Christian doctrine such as his proclamation that all religions worship the same god.
He recently took a very charitable and supportive position on Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro, an avowed atheist, who just died.
But this time he may have really done it. See page two.

He is correct.
Just as Obama actually served the conservative cause by demonstrating how insane progressive atheistic liberalism is, so Pope Francis may be serving God’s purpose in the same way, showing everyone how a socialist worldview fueled by a foundation in liberation theology cannot serve justice and unity, but can only cause more strife and division.
Telling the truth
St Malachy of 11th Century. Google.
I’ve got JESUS, how about you???
popes don’t get the job, cause their the best man. like everything the church is about. it is a bought position. look into its history as far back to the 1400s. Medici was one of the first popes to openly bribe and pay money to be the pope. his family ran a bank, (there were not called banks yet, just money lenders) and after he bought the job. the church has grew to be the biggest bank in the world. but yet you don’t see them spending their billions to help the world. the only time they pour money towards a country is in cases like the crusades. the church gave large sums to finance a large ARMY, mostly english, and french. because the church wanted the riches of the middle east, and control of the silk road. its aways been about money. look it up, it takes some time but its all out there to read.
The Catholic church also pays large sums of money to those who were sexually molested. I am very thankful I was not raised Catholic. It’s an embarrassing religion.
Christian Sanabia, Of course there are many devout Catholics that read scripture. I certainly do and I am far from alone. I do not know a single person that eats lamb chops. That does not mean people do not eat lamb chops.
You mean pope Che’?
He is an adherent of “Revolution Theology”, like most Catholic Priests from the southern Americas.
Could he be the pope St. Malachy warned about all the way back in the 11th century?
