It seems like Pope Francis is determined to see that his papacy is marked by an extraordinary level of controversy, much of it generated by him within the Catholic Church itself. While the Christian faith is no stranger to theological disputes since its inception 2,000 years ago, some periods have obviously been marked by more vigorous debates than others, much to the regret of devoted adherents to the Faith.
Yet Pope Francis doesn’t seem to be troubled by being the center of some very divisive disputes, or the fact that he is the one who has created them.
He has taken a strong position in favor of open immigration, and has made statements on theology that are in direct opposition to historic Christian doctrine such as his proclamation that all religions worship the same god.
He recently took a very charitable and supportive position on Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro, an avowed atheist, who just died.

Being Catholic I understand I should respect the position, but this Pope does not represent that position. I miss when Saint John Paul was Pope… that man was amazing
Ive been worried about this Pope for awhile now,God forgive me,but i was upset when he was here in the USA and had Mtgs with Obama but did NOT help the little Sisters if the poor who were terrorized and fined Thousands of Dollars by the Obama Admin,because they did Not believe in Birth control,there were other things that bothered me about him,he us to political,and why did Pope Benedict resign?that has not happened in over 600 yrs,God forgive me but i do not trust this Pope

Yep Charles the pope is a false figurehead. Jesus said to bring your troubles to him and he will intercede on your behalf. He did not say I will appoint someone whom will intercede on your behalf. The existence of a pope tells me that we can not have a personal relationship with Jesus. Christians do not need a pope to talk with the Lord, we are not to pray to the saints or the Virgin Mary. Quit worshipping any and all popes. S. Baptist all the way.
