Brian Williams might be the most famous purveyor of fake news this century, but that hasn’t stopped him from criticizing Donald Trump’s accusations of fraudulent reporting.
Williams is lucky he’s even still a member of the liberal media. The former broadcast anchor lost his position at NBC after a decade’s worth of lies and exaggerations were brought to light. After a too-brief hiatus, Williams was redeployed to help turn around MSNBC.
Once there, he almost immediately began criticizing the phenomenon of internet-based “fake news” — ironic, given his past personal ties to the subject.
But now that fake news has gone mainstream, Williams seems to have switched sides. He’s now defending the media against an onslaught of attacks made by Donald Trump.

The public’s dissatisfaction of the media is created by the lies from the media and constant badgering if our President Trump!!!! Find some positive things to say about our President!!!! Quit being so negative about everything he does! Please quit all the f**e news against him!!!
To the man who “came under fire” you have only to look in a mirror to see why people no longer trust the media. We are tired of being lied to and thought to be too dumb to made an educated assessment of the real news.

OMG! Mr. Williams is claiming Trump is destroying the American faith in the media? Sorry, no such truth. In fact Trump is exposing how biased and untrue the media really is. For example, CNN and MSNBC have been hammering the Trump-Russia topic for nearly a year, but didn’t investigate the selling of Uranium to Russia in 2009 nor are they reporting the facts as they now come to light. Also, reporters like Mr. Williams make false naratives about events involving themselves and then think America will keep believing them. Maybe they were never taught that once you’ve been proven to be a liar, few will place trust in you again.
