Brian Williams might be the most famous purveyor of fake news this century, but that hasn’t stopped him from criticizing Donald Trump’s accusations of fraudulent reporting.
Williams is lucky he’s even still a member of the liberal media. The former broadcast anchor lost his position at NBC after a decade’s worth of lies and exaggerations were brought to light. After a too-brief hiatus, Williams was redeployed to help turn around MSNBC.
Once there, he almost immediately began criticizing the phenomenon of internet-based “fake news” — ironic, given his past personal ties to the subject.
But now that fake news has gone mainstream, Williams seems to have switched sides. He’s now defending the media against an onslaught of attacks made by Donald Trump.

The media is destroying, has destroyed the public’s faith in the media by lying and deceiving the American people over and over again. They have blatantly attacked, belittled and besmirched Mr. Trump prior his becoming President and after becoming President. These assaults have been vile and vicious and have also been targeted at his wife, as well as his children. In many instances, these vilifications and criticisms have been proven untrue. Yet, we have on the other hand, a complacency when it comes to former President Obama, members of the Democratic Party which includes Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton. The questionable practices they have been a part of. The lies and deceitfulness which have been proven to have occurred and many other obscure Operations that their names have been associated with are nearly swept under the rug. It’s so obvious…It’s so UNprofessional. It’s so sickening. So, Mr. Williams, as you have so publicly learned, lying to the American people is something hard to get over. You’re just one of many who have helped turned the American public into nonbelievers as far as the media, (I use that word loosely) is concerned. Shame on you‼️

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some
