60 BLM-affiliated Groups Release List of Demands, Including Reparations

The real solution is for these layabouts to get an education and to get a real job, not a fake government organizer job, but a real one that produces something or creates new wealth. It seems it is easier to complain and make demands of the productive portion of society.

Of course the leaders of Black Lives Matter have added other demands to make their “platform” seem serious, some of which are plain preposterous, and some of which are intended to make these phonies sound like they want real reform. The amazing thing is that they keep electing Democrats like clockwork, and Democrats run virtually all the major cities in the country where most of these Black Lives Matter leaders hail from. They can’t seem to figure out that they are mere patsies for the liberals and ignorant, reliable votes for the party that does nothing for them except to give them lip service and a public forum.

Talk about dumb.

The list of six platform demands is aimed at furthering their goals as the presidential campaign heads into the homestretch.

The release of the six demands comes a few days before the second anniversary of the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., which set off months of protests and led to a national conversation about police killings of blacks.

As part of the effort, the groups are demanding, among other things, reparations for what they say are past and continuing harms to African-Americans, an end to the death penalty, legislation to acknowledge the effects of slavery, as well as investments in education initiatives, mental health services and jobs programs.

“We seek radical transformation, not reactionary reform,” Michaela Brown, communications director of Baltimore Bloc, another participating group, said in a statement. “As the 2016 election continues, this platform provides us with a way to intervene with an agenda that resists state and corporate power, an opportunity to implement policies that truly value the safety and humanity of black lives, and an overall means to hold elected leaders accountable.”

The Black Lives Matter organization has inspired dozens of police shootings and riots that have certainly done nothing to advance their cause. It has also done nothing to recognize the overwhelming responsibility the culture and community has in altering their own behavior.

The huge school dropout rate, over 70% of households without fathers, and crime rates three to four times greater than general society should help Black Lives Matter advocates recognize that they need to repair their own house first before they start making demands on the rest of society. But that will not happen. Instead, they will continue to live in a dreamworld where everything will be handed to them.

One of the groups leaders even claimed that nothing anyone has belongs to them, it all belongs to these wronged children. That is not only supremely ignorant, it is flat out preposterous. But as long as these folks keep focusing on what everyone else is going to do for them and give them, no progress will be made. And if they think that they will be able to take what they want by force, they have a serious fight coming.
