Hard to believe, but the day may come when Barack Obama may wish his name had never been attached to his signature health care law. Such is the sorry state of this piece of legislation.
Plagued by controversy from the beginning, it has been beset with such problems as a disastrous roll-out, enrollments below the level anticipated, allegations of impropriety by those administering the law, insurance companies bailing out of the program, and enormous rate increases anticipated for next year. Hardly a resounding success.
