Planning on getting a Master’s Degree? Do it soon or your diploma may say Neutral Degree. A professor at Yale University is attempting to eliminate the word “master” at the school, claiming it is so offensive to the college’s black and female students that some have had to move off campus to avoid it. In regards to being a professor, of course you shouldn’t asked to be called that(probably because the guy wanting to ban the word thought it fit because he has masters degree). But the word shouldn’t be banned because it represents “authority”. Masters, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor should be noted.
