Woman Faces 10 years in Prison For Having LEGAL Firearm

Mia Higginbotham, a wife and mother to a young girl, was recently arrested at Liberty International Airport in Elizabeth, NJ, for lawful possession of her own firearm. Her legally acquired handgun was packed in its original box, separate of any ammo, and locked in her hard-sided luggage.

She has been charged with “unlawful possession” of her lawfully owned, unloaded handgun and is now facing some pretty hefty time.
