Racism is officially no longer a choice. While the discrimination of a particular race was once thought of as a vile character trait, now children are being told that they are born racist — but only if they’re white.
What about other children, you ask? You must not have heard. It’s impossible to be racist against white people — because of their privilege, obviously.
This “lesson” is being taught by K-8 teachers in — where else? — Manhattan.
Apparently, the left’s proclamation that every child has value, and that every person should value their heritage, doesn’t extend to wealthy Caucasian kids. They’re being taught that they are awful, vile racists who must apologize for the decisions that they have yet to make.
The worst part is, these white children are being actively discriminated against by the school’s administration.

Racism goes in all directions. Being white does not make me racist. Do you know my family heritage? Do you know if anyone in my family owned slaves? Do you know if anyone in my family marched with Dr. King? Do you know if my family was one of the many white families along the Underground Railroad helping Harriet Tubman hide runaway or freed slaves? Do you know which side of the war my white ancestors fought during the civil war or if they fought at all. What year did my ancestors show up here? Did they invade this country or did they come hundreds of years later? Do you know which side they stood on during the civil rights movement? Do you know which of my family are Irish and came from Irish slave immigrants? Do you know anything about my family at all? Because if you don’t, then you have no right to tell me or my grandchildren, which by the way come in black, white and all shades between, how racist they are.
I am sick of being told that because God put me in white skin, I am hateful and racist and deserve to pay for something done hundreds of years ago. I did not start that fire and I refuse to be burned at the stake for someone else’s doing or beliefs. Judge me by MY character content…not someone else’s and if you are black saying this about whites then you are just as racist as anyone else. Racism isn’t born, it’s taught. Teaching hate and forcing your racists ideas onto another race is no more right today than slave owners back in the day. I have friends and family of ALL shades and ethnic backgrounds. I’ve been to my friends homes that lived in the projects, homes of Japanese, Cuban, Guatemalan, Puerto Rican, etc. I’ve been to churches, weddings, and funerals of friends of all color. Don’t judge me because you don’t know me! And YOU don’t get to decide what you think I should feel guilty about because you don’t know my heart or my sins. Get a life and stop trying to dictate mine. Where’s the love Yall? It’s 2016 not 1816. That’s a long time span to still be hating people because of skin pigment which they had no decision of choosing. God made ONE race. We should all see each other with the eyes of the blind. They can’t judge us by color…only what is in our hearts, our attitude, our love or hate of others. None of that has anything to do with our skin.
With that said, I am going to check on my mixed grand children. They are mixed with love, happiness, compassion, intelligence, empathy, and love…did I say love already? Because of all God’s gifts, he said love is the greatest of gift of all.
Needs to be taught to black children also. Need a president that will say that. Country is in a mess because of him
