Despite the fact that the heckler was clearly in the wrong here, liberals will likely pounce on this incident as proof of Trump’s “authoritarian” personality. This of course ignores the fact that if Trump had let him remain and answered his criticism, they would have attacked his response regardless of what he said. Ultimately, it was best for The Donald to not let this troublemaker waste his or the audience’s time and kick him out.
And, of course this was just part of Trump’s rebuke and he ha no actual intentions of keeping the man’s coat.
