A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

I also don’t see what the big deal over having a photo ID either… you have to show ID to buy alcohol, Cigs and to make a deposit into your own bank account.. why shouldn’t you to vote?!

How bout they don’t count at all if you are on Welfare, food stamps or any other government program. If you don’t pull your own weight and pay taxes you don’t vote regardless of skin color.
