A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

Racism is racism, no matter if it’s the Washington post or the First Lady. Just because you’re black doesn’t mean you aren’t racist, it appears to make it easier to hate people because of their skin color. I prefer the casual indifference fostered by their bigotry. I don’t care what color they are, the blind hatred they have for whites makes them not matter, they have lost significance.
