A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

well if that aint a racist statement then someone explain how this is not racist its gotten to where the portion of the black community feel they are superior to others and that all must bowl to their demands this too is racist and what your doing is creating a situation that will put the black people back in a time of the 60’s and people will get hurt even killed over all this just because you have a black president you feel the security of being able to say anything you feel like with no reprocussdions this is not the way to act you in turn have made it even harder for another man or women of color to even have a chance of running for president in the future this is a injustice to your people that you have created yourselves because of the way you have acted on this situation it also is a childish way of being in the eyes of the world that is all looking upon us during this time here is my suggestion grow up act like you do have common sense and if you are american black white yellow even pok a dot be an american and stand for our freedom of this country not just for one race but for all that is what a true american is all about so do what is right for america
