Americans have been saying many things about Pope Francis since his visit to the States. Some have been singing his praises and others have been calling for his downfall.
It shouldn’t take you long to figure out where these two groups stand politically. As the Pope stood before Congress endorsing immigration, an Arab reporter, who was hired by the television show “Piazza Pulita,” to act as a Syrian refugee near the Vatican, to demonstrate how a Syrian migrant is actually treated if he showed up at the Vatican.

You need to do your “thorough investigation” here and not in pages of a book translated hundreds of times over by mankind. Since the site posts its latest posts first, scroll to the bottom and click previous until you reach the beginning and then read back to the first page. Learn why this group was created by a Catholic priest and all the things they have done to try to keep all this quiet. Then judge just how righteous your underlying religion really is.

I can almost bet no one here will be brave enough to read it all and understand.
Ms.$#%&!@* the chronic and widespread ignorance of facts with regard to the Catholic Church is frustrating in the extreme. Especially since they are so easily found by anyone who bothers to take the time to do a little research.
Repeating the same timeworn arguments for 500 years does not make them more credible.
It’s hard to understand why people like you cannot grasp that there is a great deal of difference between the isolated actions of individual Catholics and the official teachings of the Church. Obviously, we all have free will to either follow or reject those teachings. That includes priests, bishops, and the laity.
The fact that an ex-priest alleges something derogatory about the Church is not evidence of anything.
People who are disgruntled because they can’t or won’t honor their vows, or have a disagreement with a superior, are legion in the Church as well as in the business world. Some of these people feel compelled to tell others and make their former associations appear totally at fault for their own shortcomings. This is a temptation as old as humanity. Did not Adam blame Eve for the fact that he decided to eat the forbidden fruit?
Even Martin Luther, the leader of the initial Protestant revolt, separated from the Church as much for personal reasons as over matters of doctrine and practice. At first, he still accepted many fundamental Catholic beliefs. The more he began to challenge those teachings, the more vitriolic became his attacks on the Church. This was primarily a way to justify his destructive actions to others, as well as to his own tortured conscience. He abandoned his vows as a priest and got married. He mocked the idea of authority in the Church, despite the fact that it is clearly taught in Scripture. And so on and on.
Those who sin often are satisfied only after they are able to draw others into their negative behaviors and attitudes. They feel justified when they can point to others as if to say, “see, I’m not the only one who does what I do, or thinks like me.”
I implore you to go to the sources rather than continuing to repeat cliches that are either outright lies and distortions, or at the least misunderstandings of the truth.

The pope is an Argentinian socialist. See how well things are working out in Argentina today? He also is the dictator of the largest church in the world. Think he wants input from a democracy, or capitalists? He SHOULD practice what he preaches. God IS watching.
