Trump’s Cabinet Finds Strength, Guidance and Wisdom in Bible Studies

The most important decisions made our everyday lives are made, not by us, but by our proxies in Washington, DC.  We have made the decision to place within our government at all levels individuals who are aligned with our lifestyles and religious beliefs in order to create legislation that reflects our values and morals.

At the highest levels in the state and federal government, an ex-NBA player has surrounded himself with a host of very talented, loving and enthusiastic individuals who have been imbued with the Holy Spirit and are on a personal and God-given mission to spread the Word of the Gospel and the loving nature of Jesus.

A spiritual awakening is underway at the White House.

Some of the most powerful people in America have been gathering weekly to learn more about God’s Word, and this Trump Cabinet Bible study is making history.

They’ve been called the most evangelical Cabinet in history – men and women who don’t mince words when it comes to where they stand on God and the Bible.

Ralph Drollinger of Capitol Ministries told CBN News, “These are godly individuals that God has risen to a position of prominence in our culture.”

They’re all handpicked by President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

If you remember, Donald Trump made an implicit promise to Christians all over and that was that he would not abandon them by ever turning his back on the issues that were important to them and that he would never back away from supporting them when they were under fire from the Regressives and the Party of the Jackass.

Drollinger is a former NBA-playing giant of a man with an even bigger calling. He founded Capitol Ministries with the idea that if you change the hearts of lawmakers, then their Christian world view will guide them to make good policies.

He’s started Bible studies in 40 state capitols, a number of foreign capitols, teaches weekly studies in the U.S. House and Senate and now leads about a dozen members of President Trump’s Cabinet in weekly studies of the scriptures.

Health Secretary Tom Price, Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Agriculture Secretary Sunny Perdue, and CIA Director Mike Pompeo are just a few of the regulars.

Not only are the people within the Cabinet invited to attend these very impactful studies, but anyone in the chain of command structure are welcome to attend.  Why this is so important and so needed is that is obvious.  There has been an absolute dismal lack of faith in the White House and Congress for so long, this dearth has actually been counter-productive to making decisions from the heart rather than from the pocket.

For a man who professed to be a Christian, Barack Hussein Obama NEVER spoke about the Holy Bible with such reverence and respect and overall devotion as he did when he spoke about the Quran.  Never once did he invoke the name of our Savior, and if many remember, he even purposefully omitted from multiple speeches, including a reading of the Gettysburg Address, the Thanksgiving Day speech, and the State of the Union address, any mention of God and his everlasting blessings over our nation.

No amount of cajoling or opining could ever convince me that he is a true believer.  Drollinger is ensuring that the blatant and purposeful lack of faith in government is reversed and his mission is something in which he truly believes.

“It’s the best Bible study that I’ve ever taught in my life. They are so teachable; they’re so noble; they’re so learned,” Drollinger said.

It’s groundbreaking since he doesn’t think a formal Bible study among executive Cabinet members has been done in at least 100 years.
America’s top cop, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, also attends the study.

“He’ll (Jeff Sessions) go out the same day I teach him something and I’ll see him do it on camera and I just think, ‘Wow, these guys are faithful, available and teachable and they’re at Bible study every week they’re in town,'” Drollinger said.

President Trump is invited to attend the Bible studies, too. Each week he receives a copy of Drollinger’s teaching.

And Vice President Pence is also planning to join the study as his schedule permits. He also serves as a sponsor.

Mike Pence, himself a Mormon, has devoted himself to a truthful and honest, public embracing of Christianity and all that it entails.  Drollinger is quite impressed with Pence and his ability to transcend politics and the bitterness of the struggles between right and wrong, Left and Right, and sit as a humble servant of God and an arbiter of men and women at odds in the most powerful government that humanity has ever known.

In Pence, Drollinger sees many similarities to biblical figures like Joseph, Mordecai and Daniel – all men who rose to the number two position in governments at different times in history.

“Mike Pence has respect for the office. He dresses right – like it says Joseph cleaned himself up before he went to stand before the Pharaoh,” Drollinger told CBN News.

“Mike Pence has uncompromising biblical tenacity and he has a loving tone about him that’s not just a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal,” he continued. “And then fourthly, he brings real value to the head of the nation.”

Like others, Drollinger often compares President Trump to biblical strongman Samson.

“I just praise God for them,” he said. “And I praise God for Mike Pence, who I think with Donald Trump chose great people to lead our nation.”

This is just the sort of leadership that is required to overcome the filth and the muck of the Swamp and its horribly deforming influence over the minds of men as they struggle in the nation’s capitals to make life-changing decisions on behalf of Americans.  These decisions, as well, affect not only our nation, but considering the influence and power of America, also affect the world at large.

There is no greater calling than that to serve the Lord.  And there is no greater good than to answer that call.  These individuals who have been beckoned to the U.S. government at this time in our nation’s history are under great stress and they require our prayers and His guidance and wisdom.

These are great days and there are more to come.  Drollinger and his ministry is doing an amazing and selfless thing and should be recognized and supported for his efforts.
