Trump Unveils Bold New Plan For Israel/Palestinian Enduring Peace

President Trump’s first foreign junket abroad since taking over the Oval Office has resulted in a breakthrough plan for both the Israelis and the Palestinians that is unlike any other “peace accord” before it, ushering in a new age of understanding, togetherness and cooperation.  The commerce-minded Trump unveiled a comprehensive plan to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Cabinet that addresses the ongoing animosity of the Arab world toward the small Jewish nation by focusing on what Trump does best:  building.

In the spirit of the great builder of the ancient world, Trump has arrived in Israel with a bold plan that will not only harness Israel’s engineering prowess, it will also put a massive number of Israelis and Palestinians to work.

Israeli ministers have approved measures aimed at improving the Palestinian economy and facilitating crossings, rare moves said to be at Donald Trump’s request hours ahead of the US president’s arrival.

In a statement, Trump’s administration welcomed the moves saying he “has been encouraging both sides to take steps that improve the environment for peace making.”

In other words, you have put out the continuing message for years that you want peace, but the only way that this peace will ever begin to solidify at its base is if the people who perceive the Israeli people as having everything begin sharing in that prosperity, the “environment for peace making” suddenly becomes more of a reality.

In the world of politics, if I may make the comparison, the worst places of poverty and crime are lorded over by the Leftists.  In the United States, for instance, the horrid inner city environments are places where the discontent of the people has bled over into the outer communities.  Leftists continuously practice classism and tell their constituents “They have stuff and you don’t!  You need to just take it!”

Rather than a message of hope and uplifting positivity, the Left is the harbinger of doom where there is no hope and there is nothing positive in life.  The White privilege argument abides in every message the Left makes to keep itself in power and to keep its people in a constant state of agitation.  Working up the public into a rage against those who have has worked and the poverty-stricken for all their efforts, continue to live in squalor.  The ghettoes expand, the welfare increases, and the people who have been trained to hate all those who have continue to be the victims of Progressive slum-lord mayors and governors.

One of Trump’s first moves was to direct Ben Carson in the Housing and Urban Development department to improve the mechanisms in the inner cities around the country in order to allow those who cannot leave their neighborhood at least to share in a better life for them and their children.  The same applies here.  The Israeli people will cool down the unrest by providing the Palestinian people with some much needed improvement in infrastructure.

“He has expressed particular interest in taking steps to improve the Palestinian economy in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.”

In what the Israeli official described as a “gesture for Trump’s visit, which does not harm Israel’s interests,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s security cabinet on Sunday approved the enlargement of a Palestinian industrial zone on the edge of the southern West Bank.

“Not harming Israel’s interests” means precisely that.  It will not bring about a minimizing of the real dangers that still exist in that region and they won’t be giving up lands that they rightfully own, as well as go back to previous borders as the former president demanded of the Israeli people.

He said that the possibility of extending Israel Railways services to the northern West Bank city of Jenin would also be examined.

They also gave the nod to streamlining transit procedures at Shaar Ephraim, a busy crossing point in the northern part of the occupied West Bank for Palestinian labourers with permits to work in Israel.

The official said that opening hours for passage across the main Jordan River bridge linking the Palestinian territory and the neighbouring kingdom were to be extended to 24/7.

There would also be reforms to Palestinian land use in urban areas in the 60 percent of the West Bank under full Israeli control.

These overtures to the Palestinian community may in fact do for the peace process what has never truly been done before:  make peace a reality.  No one is naïve enough to believe that this is the cure-all for a very complicated issue.  However, it is a huge step in the Right direction.

The Leftists need to understand that they can either assist the Prime Minister in this huge undertaking, or they can just get out of the way.

As in the parable of the two builders, the house built upon sand will wash away…but the house built upon stone will withstand the storm.
