It may be more than a few years old by now, but the huge 470K-document cache of information that was claimed in the famous Osama bin Laden raid following his shooting death inside the Abbottabad complex in Pakistan is now only being made public. In an unprecedented move by the Trump administration, the entire amount of recovered information has been declassified and released, something which the Obama administration fought to keep secret and buried for nearly his entire presidency.
The question as to why he kept this information behind an iron door has now been answered and the news is stunning, but not unexpected. As was long suspected by the Right-wing media, Obama’s whole thrust toward keeping the bin Laden documents hidden from the prying eyes of the public was literally and sadly all about getting him re-elected!
On the penultimate day of the Obama administration, less than 24 hours before the president would vacate the White House, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper issued a press release meant to put to rest what had been a pesky issue for his office. “Closing the Book on Bin Laden: Intelligence Community Releases Final Abbottabad Documents,” the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) announced. “Today marks the end of a two-and-a-half-year effort to declassify several hundred documents recovered in the raid on Osama bin Laden’s Abbottabad, Pakistan, compound in May 2011.” Accompanying the press release were 49 documents captured during the raid, bringing the total number of documents made public to 571.
For anyone who had paid even casual attention to the long-running debate over the Abbottabad documents—a group that doesn’t include many journalists—the ODNI announcement was cause for a chuckle. Closing the book on Osama bin Laden? The final Abbottabad documents?
In the heady days immediately after the May 2 Abbottabad raid, President Obama’s national security adviser, Tom Donilon, had described the intelligence haul brought back from Pakistan by the Navy SEALs and CIA operatives as extensive enough to fill a “small college library.” A senior military intelligence official who briefed reporters at the Pentagon on May 7, 2011, said: “As a result of the raid, we’ve acquired the single largest collection of senior terrorist materials ever.”
So, with less than 24 hours before he turned the reins of power over to Donald John Trump, the former president opted to lengthen the already-copious yellow streak that stretched from his neck to his buttocks just a little bit longer by releasing a pathetic few 571 documents of the 470,000 that were in the possession of the CIA.
This was done only because of the pressure by Republican leaders in Congress who had repeatedly asked for these documents for nearly 5 years! To say that Barack Hussein Obama was a coward and a cheat is an understatement. Not unlike Hillary Clinton rigging the Democrat primaries against Bernie Sanders to ensure her coronation as queen, Obama rigged the election against Mitt Romney to ensure his anointment as king. The two have more in common than just their “White privilege,” to be sure. It appears that both Obama and Clinton are two peas in a pod in the realm of dishonesty, obfuscation, obstruction, arrogance and narcissism.
And they both got away with it. Hillary may not have won the election, but she certainly skated on prosecutorial certitudes. Anyone else with this mountain of impropriety and allegations stack against them would most certainly have taken the fall. But not her. And certainly not Obama.
Why would ODNI think it could get away with such an aggressive lie? Why would officials there believe that they wouldn’t be asked to reconcile the fact that they were releasing just 571 documents with the repeated pronouncements that the Abbottabad collection was the largest haul of terrorist intelligence ever?
The answer: The self-proclaimed “most transparent administration in history” had spent more than five years misleading the American people about the threat from al Qaeda and its offshoots and had paid very little price for having done so.

As I read the article it became crystal clear that I (and many, many others) had been right to call for the indictment, arrest, trial, and sentencing of Barack H. Obama for the crime of treason, amongst other high crimes and misdemeanors. The facts stand that Obama essentially enacted a “gag order” on the collection of documents obtained through the raid on the bin Laden compound in Abbotobad so that he could get re-elected and give aid and comfort to Iran, whom is a known hostile actor against the United States which he indeed did do with the Iran Neuclear Deal. This deal was never run through Congress and was enacted through “Executive Privelege” by Barack H. Obama himself. Thankfully, once President Trump took office, President Trump deep sixed the Obama Iran Neuclear Deal. Although he did put a stop to it, he couldn’t stop the airplane load of cold, hard cash that Obama had sent to Iran prior to the end of his final term as President.
It has been said before, and I shall say it again, “INDICT, ARREST, BRING TO TRIAL, AND SENTENCE Barack H. Obama for high crimes and misdemeanors to include treason against the United States, it’s citizens, and it’s possessions!”. Do this swiftly and soon. Once Obama is arrested, he will undoubtedly sing like a canary and unmask his co-conspirators inside of the DOJ, the National Security Apparatus, and in Congress. The dominoes will fall swiftly and may well hold to Hillary Clinton’s assertion that if she’s taken down she will take half of Washington with her. This has the potential to drain the cesspool of Washington, D.C. that has been allowed to fester for well over thirty years.
