Appearing at Recode’s Code Conference yesterday afternoon, (Lord knows what those saps had to pay her), Hillary made it clear she still doesn’t see anything wrong with setting up an unsecured email server to conduct official and classified State Department business.
Obviously, she’s totally oblivious to the Espionage Act and all its implications for mishandling classified information. Whether she likes it or not, it’s still a big deal.
The overriding issue that affected the election that I had any control over… was the way that the use of my email account was turned into the biggest scandal since Lord knows when.”
That’s when she decided to put her foot in her mouth and demean war veterans. She referenced The New York Times coverage of the email scandal, but hastened to add the left-leaning paper still endorsed her candidacy.
It was interesting — I know you had Dean Baquet from The New York Times yesterday, and they covered it like it was Pearl Harbor.”
Recognizing that she can only visit a limited number of worshiping liberal audiences in her pity tour across America, Mrs. Clinton discussed the upcoming book about the campaign she’s allegedly writing.
In the book, I'm just using everything that anybody else said about it, besides me, who basically said this is the biggest ‘nothingburger’ ever. It was a mistake. I've said it was a mistake. Obviously, if I can turn the clock back, I wouldn't have done it in the first place, but the way it was used was very damaging.”
Speaking of nothingburgers, the 2016 Clinton campaign was the biggest ever. She had no message, no strategy and no ability to connect with voters. All she could do was insult half of America by calling them “deplorables” and incessantly play the gender card.
Yesterday she also whined about Bernie Sanders criticizing her for her paid speeches at Goldman Sachs events, claiming his comments were “unfair.”
It’s clear that Hillary’s sense of entitlement and obsession with gender politics was not the least bit helpful to her. Her recent commencement address at Wellesley College put her self-absorption and selfishness on full display.
The message graduates could take away was not empowering to women. All Mrs. Clinton has to offer is to marry an upcoming and ambitious male to ride his coattails to the top. Then, if that doesn’t work, try whining.
