Tim Kaine and His Ties to the Muslim Brotherhood

When it comes to U.S. elections, foreigners and their governments are supposed to keep their money in their own countries.  We know that doesn’t always happen.  In fact, we covered one egregious example involving Hillary and the Saudis already.

Turns out she’s got more in common with Mr. Kaine that we originally thought.  From a story that ran last July we learned:

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s newly-announced running mate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, has a history of embracing Islamists. He appointed a Hamas supporter to a state immigration commission; spoke at a dinner honoring a Muslim Brotherhood terror suspect; and received donations from well-known Islamist groups.

What’s this fascination that Democrats have with Islamists?  First Hillary and now Kaine? Must be the donations?

If you’re known by the company you keep, Kaine is a danger to the country.

In 2007, Kaine was the Governor of Virginia and, of all people, chose Muslim American Society (MAS) President Esam Omeish to the state’s Immigration Commission. A Muslim organization against Islamism criticized the appointment and reckless lack of vetting.

Federal prosecutors said in a 2008 court filing that MAS was “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.”

Is this an isolated case with Kaine, or a pattern of mutual support between the candidate for Vice-President and Islamist leaders?

In September 2011, Kaine spoke at a “Candidates Night” dinner organized by the New Dominion PAC that presented a Lifetime Achievement Award for Jamal Barzinji, who the Global Muslim Brotherhood Watch describes as a “founding father of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.”

He first came on to the FBI’s radar in 1987-1988 when an informant inside the Brotherhood identified Barzinji and his associated groups as being part of a network of Brotherhood fronts to “institute the Islamic Revolution in the United States.” In September 2011, Kaine spoke at a “Candidates Night” dinner organized by the New Dominion PAC that presented a Lifetime Achievement Award for Jamal Barzinji, who the Global Muslim Brotherhood Watch describes as a “founding father of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.”

That should answer that question.  It looks like radical Islamists and Mr. Kaine are buddies.

And how does that make you feel about the person next in line to be president should we be afflicted with a Clinton presidency and an ailing Hillary?
