Texas Police Shoot and Kill Robbery Suspect Holding Woman Hostage

As the hostage fled the scene, the man with the cell phone was able to sneak around the back of it all and get an up close look at the body. The footage below is graphic, so beware before watching.

The hostage taker worked his way around to the side of the building, according to police, and tried to force the woman into his car. There was a brief standoff before officers shot and killed the suspect.

“I heard what I thought was a tire blowing out of a car and then I realized it was a gunshot. I turned to my right and I saw the man lying on the ground and a bunch of cops were by the door,” a witness said.

The same store was robbed, according to police, at gunpoint on January 14. Another store not far from it was robbed in North Irving a few days prior.

Investigators are working to determine if the robberies are connected.

Watch the scene unfold in the video below.

It’s strange how seeing an incident like this up close can give you a whole new respect for what police officers do. If more liberal activists and keyboard warriors saw things like this, perhaps they would stop whining and realize exactly how intense and important the job of a police officer actually is. Let’s hope these brave men get the credit they deserve.
