David Speros Griggs There is no such thing as separation of Church and State. The Constitution prohibits the federal government from instituting an official religion. The individual States are free to establish an official religion should their Constitution so choose to allow it.

I believe it was in 53-54 law was passed and I’m paraphrasing here to prohibit those of any faith (directed at Islam) that had no intention of assimilating into the established culture of the U.S. and or even using their immigration to attempt overthrowing or undermining the U.S. in any way
