Ted Cruz Goes Off On Washington Post For Depicting His Daughters As Monkeys

The logic on the left is amiss when one can justify hurting two young girls in order to hurt a Presidential candidate.  Ann Telnaes wrongly concluded that it was appropriate to hurt Ted Cruz’ girls, by depicting them as monkeys in her cartoon, because Cruz had decided to use them in his own Christmas parody video.

Fortunately, the backlash was immediate and the cartoon was yanked by Washington Post editorial page editor Fred Hiatt.

Telnaes’ cartoon was widely panned on social media Tuesday evening, prompting editorial page editor Fred Hiatt to yank the drawing.

“It’s generally been the policy of our editorial section to leave children out of it,” Hiatt wrote in a note. “I failed to look at this cartoon before it was published. I understand why Ann thought an exception to the policy was warranted in this case, but I do not agree.”

Nothing is sacred on the left, all is fair game, ethics go out the window, and victory at all cost is their morale.
