Revealed: Clinton Campaign, DNC & “Mysterious” Republican Funded Trump Dossier

The first claim is that Marc Elias (one of the campaign lawyers for Clinton who works with the law firm Perkins Coie) was the one who paid for the Dossier.  Let’s look at that claim real quick.  Elias has repeatedly denied that the campaign had anything to do with the documents.  This is from the Daily Mail:

Prior to the Post report, Elias had earlier ‘vigorously’ denied being involved in the Trump dossier, according to New York Times reporter Ken Vogel.

‘When I tried to report this story. Clinton campaign lawyer (Marc Elias) pushed back vigorously, saying ‘You (or your sources) are wrong’,’ Vogel tweeted shortly after the Post report surfaced.

Interestingly, the first time that Elias actually took credit was only AFTER the bank records for Fusion GPS were subpoenaed by the House Intelligence Committee and for which the company is officially suing to keep them secret!

Fusion GPS co-founder Peter Fritsch and partner Thomas Catan last week invoked the US Constitution’s Fifth Amendment, which protects Americans against self-incrimination.

After their invocation of the Fifth for “every single question posed,” the company then attempted to block the House Intelligence Committee from seeing their bank records.  The House advanced the case to the next higher court ant that’s when Elias came forward and said to Fusion GPS that they don’t have to release the bank records, that he’ll just admit it:  He was the one who paid for the “opposition research” Dossier!

How convenient.  “Don’t look at those bank records, House members!  I was the one who funded the hundreds of millions for Christopher Steele to produce this document!  Blame me!  It wasn’t anyone but me!  You can trust me!  Why would I lie?”
