Raven-Symoné: The Orlando Attack ‘is a hate crime first’

On “The View” Monday, an equally vacuous and bizarre program, Raven-Symoné said she did not understand why people were calling the massacre in Orlando a “terror attack” first.

“I consider this a hate crime, then a terrorist act, then horribleness to America in general, but this a hate crime,” Symonè said. “How come other people are making it other things before? It needs to be categorized as a hate crime first.”

The distinction, of course, is that a hate crime refers to a crime against LGBT individuals, while a terror attack is much broader. The distinction is important because Omar Mateen was shot dead at the site, so to call this a hate crime means that there is an end to the carnage. To recognize that this is a terror attack signals that it could be one of many, and the mentally and logic challenged Raven-Symoné should have someone explain to her that designating this as a terror attack signals this could be a pattern rather than a one time event. And in fact, it should also signal that as an Islamic terror attack, it means that the radical Islamic religion could be targeting the LGBT community as a whole. In fact, in many Islamic countries that is exactly the case.

Perhaps that is why Raven-Symoné is still able to support Hillary Clinton for president. The Clinton Foundation accepted tens of millions of dollars from Islamic nations in exchange for special favors while Clinton was Secretary of State, and that fact alone should disqualify Hillary for the presidency. But those are the very nations that throw homosexuals off the tops of buildings or chop their heads off. I guess Raven-Symoné would call those hate crimes as well, but they are more. They are institutional terrorism promoted by Islam. How in the world does Clinton get a pass on that? Well, it is pronounced on The View, after all.
