Rand Paul is completely correct, of course, that there is no need for bayonets in local law enforcement. Bayonets are for hand-to-hand combat in battle and the only purpose is to kill.

Based upon the uniforms in the pic, it looks like a U. S. Marine and an Australian.
Personally, I always drilled my Marines with unsheathed bayonets when practicing for riot control situations. I always felt that most rioters just wanted to make noise, not get stuck with a bayonet. It promoted safety all around……for both the rioters and the Marines. 🙂

Maybe we should disarm our police! Like in the U.K? Oh, they’ve SHARIA law going on over there…..we know there’s some awful agenda going on if the police are getting all these vehicles and weapons. I’m ok with it if the government said we might be attacked by Russia or China. But so far there’s no reason. I say, hunters! Start arming yourselves! You just might be the Militia! The new freedom fighters. Hopefully this c**p will correct itself with the Republicans in town.
