“I can’t imagine any use for bayonets in an urban setting,” stated Sen. Rand Paul to Senate Homeland Security Committee at a hearing last year.
“I can’t answer what a local police force would use a bayonet for,” Alan Estevez said.
Paul snapped back “None”
Rand Paul is completely correct, of course, that there is no need for bayonets in local law enforcement. Bayonets are for hand-to-hand combat in battle and the only purpose is to kill.

I have em for both my old style Ar and one for my ak too and their sharp and functional but I was trained on how to use them the cops really do not have the same level of training as we of the military or prior military with combat experience have
I think if it gets to the point where our local Police uses bayonets on us then we will be in a “Civil War”. Use this information along with the attempt to take guns away and it certainly could be conceived as a move to become a “Police State” much like Germany was in WWII!
