“I can’t imagine any use for bayonets in an urban setting,” stated Sen. Rand Paul to Senate Homeland Security Committee at a hearing last year.

Rand Paul is completely correct, of course, that there is no need for bayonets in local law enforcement. Bayonets are for hand-to-hand combat in battle and the only purpose is to kill.

Bayonets don’t stop bullets. No worry
The only use for a bayonet is in a close quarter skirmish where discharging your weapon would endanger unintended targets. Even in a riot scenario, law enforcement has been trained in tactics that are less lethal to control the situation, not hand to hand combat with the intent of killing.
They need them to kill patriots and save money on ammunition when ovomit and his crime syndicate get around to applying martial law to continue their war on Americans !!!
