So the Critics of Pope Francis have been loud and increasing just as much as the calls of social justice and climate change have excited the leftists in America. Then there was the alleged bombshell that the Pope went a step further when he discussed the “failure” of Jesus’ life and the “failure of the cross.”

because he said, “humanly speaking”? that is the line Catholics are using to defend him…..I even read an article from a Baptist preacher who defended what he said.People are trying to defend Jorge Bergoglio by saying that what he means is, that it’s okay if your efforts and works seems to fail and not produce fruit because we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ,whose human life ended in failure;the failure of the cross….so we are supposed to believe,according to Bergoglio,that it’s okay if you fail because the Work of Jesus Christ failed when He was a human and didn’t produce fruit;the Work of the cross was a failure. Jesus had thousands of followers who believed in Him! Jesus did many miracles in the sight of witnesses,Jesus Christ was sent by the Father to be the sacrificial Lamb,so that His blood would wash away our sins so that we might be saved! Jesus,the human man,did the WORK that He was sent by the Father to do for mankind and on the cross,Jesus Christ said,” IT IS FINISHED”……He didn’t say,” Father,please forgive me because I failed”…..He said, “Father,forgive them,for they know not what they do”. The Apostles, and thousands of others,and millions even today who believe and follow Jesus Christ are proof that His work on earth as a human man wasn’t a failure;the Cross wasn’t/ IS NOT a failure…. Humans fail HIM,even Jorge Begoglio and his followers,as well as the ancient “popes” and 21rst century popes who committed sin against their neighbors,women and children….The article isn’t misleading,people are being misled by a man who styles himself as the “Holy Father”…… Jesus Christ didn’t fail in anything HE DID….If humans fail,it’s the fault of humans,whether they be false teachers and prophets,or whether they choose to believe and follow Christ or not.Jesus never forced anyone to follow Him,but He showed mankind the Way,Truth and the Life….. He died, was resurrected and LIVES….To say that Jesus,humanly speaking,including His work on the cross failed….is to say that there’s no hope,no faith,no salvation,no believers…and that’s a Lie

Rebecca Ballew, you are so right, but & again the Catholic Church has been losing face for a very long time, with the disgrace of all the sex offense of the priest, young children are not safe, in my opinion some of the priest don’t practice what they preach.
