Podesta and Left-Wing Activists Plot to Infiltrate the Catholic Church, Create Rebellion

You have to wonder just how frequently the phrase “newly leaked” is being used on the internet right now.  We have “newly leaked emails,” “newly leaked audio tapes,” “newly leaked documents,” and who knows what else.  This election will be remembered for many things, and all the leaked materials and their impact will certainly be on that list.

That said, we have a newly leaked email revealing an effort to infiltrate the Catholic Church with left-wing beliefs and to foment rebellion.  Now what kind of people would attack a church?  Here’s your answer:

A newly leaked email shows Hillary Clinton’s current campaign chairman John Podesta and a Left-wing activist casually discussing fomenting “revolution” in the Catholic Church.

“There needs to be a Catholic Spring, in which Catholics themselves demand the end of a middle ages dictatorship and the beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality in the Catholic Church,” Sandy Newman, president and founder of the progressive nonprofit Voices for Progress, writes to Podesta in an email titled “opening for a Catholic Spring? just musing.”

Who is the Left-wing activist?

Newman, who is Jewish, admits he does not know much about the Catholic Church and isn’t volunteering personally to subvert Catholic teachings.

Well, he’s right about that — he doesn’t know much about the Catholic Church.  If he did, he’d understand that the exclusivity of males as priests isn’t a gender issue as much as it is informed by doctrine regarding the role the priest in celebrating the Eucharist.  But when you’ve got an agenda to push, who cares about the people’s religious beliefs?

Back to the story:

In response, Podesta assures Newman to rest easy for he and his progressive pals have already created organizations explicitly designed to infiltrate the Catholic Church with progressive ideology, though he cautions that the time may not be right for full revolution — just yet.

“We created Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good to organize for a moment like this. But I think it lacks the leadership to do so now. Likewise Catholics United. Like most Spring movements, I think this one will have to be bottom up,” Podesta writes.

So those of you who are faithful Catholics can rest assured that an assault from the left on your church and its ancient doctrine is on its way.

The conversation further reveals the contempt with which radical progressives view Catholics and the Catholic Church. On Monday, WikiLeaks published an email showing Democratic operatives mocking conservative Catholics.

These left-wing extremists are an insidious bunch, aren’t they?  Almost like they’ve declared jihad on Catholics and the Catholic Church.  Doesn’t look like there is much of level below which they won’t stoop to accomplish their agenda of a complete transformation of our society.
