Obama’s DOJ Given Secret Order to Monitor Trump Campaign Adviser in June 2016

Reports have come to light that former investment banker Carter Page, a volunteer foreign policy adviser to the Donald Trump campaign in 2016, was targeted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for surveillance. The reports come from anonymous sources. The FBI has not confirmed the surveillance.

Although some Democrats are alleging Page colluded with Russian operatives, there is no clear evidence that Page has violated any laws. The surveillance was supposedly authorized under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) by a special FISA court.

Find out more about why the FBI would request the surveillance warrant and how vigorously Page has denied any wrongdoing. You can learn how Democrats have cited an unverified British intelligence dossier on the next page.
