Obama: Right Wing Radio and Some Cable Stations are Telling Lies about Economy

Obama spoke at Concord Community High School in Indiana this past Wednesday about jobs and the economy, and once again attacked “right-wing radio” for reporting a dishonest perspective of how the economy is doing and its failures under the Obama administration.

Obama said, “By telling hard-working middle-class families that the reason they are getting squeezed is because some moochers at the bottom of the income ladder, because of minorities and because of immigrants or because of employees or because of feminists, because of poor folks who aren’t willing to work, they have been able to promote policies and protect special interests and those at the very top of the economic pyramid. That’s just the truth.

I hope you don’t mind me being blunt about this, but I have been listening to the stuff for a while. And I’m concerned when I watch the direction of our politics. We have been hearing this story for decades, tales about welfare queens, talking about the takers, talking about the 47 percent. It is the story that is broadcast every day on some cable news stations, on right wing radio. It is pumped into cars and bars and VFW halls all across America and right here in Elkhart.

If you are hearing that story all the time, you start believing it. It is no wonder people think state government is the problem.”

Obama is simply unhappy because non main streammedia outlets have pointed out that the economy is not in good shape, with 50 million households receiving food stamps, almost 100 million Americans out of the work force, and many countries dumping U.S. dollars and bonds because the economy is no longer seen as a safe place to invest. That is not bias, that is factual, but Obama resents that news outlets will report anything but the happy talk that he issues to the slavering mainstream press toadies.

Obama was even recently heard declaring that he saved the world economy from a world wide economic crash and depression, which is so laughable even his news reporting minions buried the preposterous claim in their reports.

It is all we can do to take solace in the fact that we will be done with this huckster and braggart in half a year. In the meantime, watch for him to inflict maximum damage on the nation and to try to establish his “legacy” of achievements as he provides his friends in the mainstream media many more tales of his greatness and success, which they will report with zero evidence of their veracity.
