Obama Responds at Town Hall: Why do you want to restrict ‘good’ gun owners?

Obama then cried big crocodile tears about the evil NRA, as most Democrats do whenever they need a boogeyman to blame for any number of issues. The whole performance is embarrassing and dishonest, but that is what we have come to expect from Lord Obama. He also mentions his desire to prevent anyone on the “no-fly” list from obtaining a gun as if that is the most reasonable position ever. He neglects to say that the public has no idea who is on the list, the criteria for placing them on the list, and the fact that it is impossible to be removed from the list once placed on it. This is a clear recipe for government abuse, and he knows it.

Obama is spending millions of dollars to add FBI and Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents to conduct background checks, but nothing for making sure that the Middle Eastern Muslims he is inviting into the country are properly vetted. He continues to falsely claim that a huge number of arms are purchased at gun shows without buyers going through background checks, which he knows is an abject lie. And he continues to mistrust the ordinary gun owner in the United States and to claim that he is only trying to solve a problem of out of control gun violence.

He is a liar and a con man. His efforts do nothing to deal with inner city gang violence, where criminals ignore background checks and usually obtain their weapons by stealing them. His efforts will do nothing to quell that problem, and the mass shootings that have occurred were carried out in “gun-free” zones. You have to wonder why Obama fears an armed populace, but history answers the question. An armed citizenry keeps government tyranny at bay.

Watch the video and see how Obama squirms in trying to answer a simple question. Then ask yourself, has he addressed what the man asked about? Has Obama explained why the man in the audience should be mistrusted and hamstrung because he wants to exercise his 2nd amendment rights?
