When it comes to tradition, no doubt our military is one of the nation’s foremost repositories of this virtue. It is one shared with a president as he is their ultimate commander.
But as Mr. Obama prepares to leave office, he’s not always getting the send-off one might expect. Note the absence of people at the event in the video below. Sort of reminds you of a Hillary Clinton campaign rally doesn’t it?
Perhaps there’s a connection? After all, neither Mr. Obama nor the Clintons have ever shown any respect for our armed services and those who serve in them beyond what is obligatory.
Whatever the case, this had to be a humiliating experience for the president.
