Obama Fails Americans Abroad and At Home

With U.S. citizens in dire danger from Islamic terrorists sweeping through the hotel seeking non-Muslim and foreign targets, the administration tweeted the following message to the world:

kirby mali tweet
“We are aware U.S. citizens might be present Radisson Hotel in Bamako, #Mali. @USEmbassyMali working to verify this information #MaliAttacks”

The siege has now ended, with 12 dead, including at least one American in the body count. Malian special forces stormed the hotel to rescue at least 138 people who were left in the hotel after some 80 guests had been freed, with 2 of the terrorists killed in the battle.

Malian army commander Modibo Nama Traore  reported that:

Ten gunmen had stormed the hotel Friday morning shouting “Allahu Akbar,” or “God is great,” in Arabic before firing on the guards. A staffer at the hotel who gave his name as Tamba Diarra said over the phone that the attackers used grenades in the assault.

While the number killed could have been much greater, one has to wonder how very stupid the administration was to release in a public and visible place such as Twitter information that there were Americans located in the hotel. This could only have invited the terrorists to seek out and kill those who the administration had a duty to protect. Instead they were betrayed by the release of badly timed and evaluated information that should never been published openly.

Obama, our commander in chief, once again has proven that he runs an amateur shop and Americans cannot trust or depend on his administration to protect them or to make the right decisions when it comes to saving American lives.
