The lower pay increase translates to a Pay Grade E-4 (Corporal, Petty Officer 3d Class, Specialist 4, Senior Airman) with less than three years in service will earn less than $3.00 an hour. Under the 2016 pay scale, a Pay Grade E-1 undergoing recruit training will be paid roughly $2.15 an hour.

I got paid very well while he was in office. My retirement check didn’t go down and when you’re the low ranks you live and eat for free at most bases, a lot of times they have housing increases as well so to me it all balances out. From the 20 years I was in I never heard anyone complain about their pay. When I went in back in 92 I brought home after taxes about $600 a month when I retired I was bringing home 5k a month after taxes. Most military has typically voted republican but I heard more complaining with Bush and Cheney in the office than I ever heard while Obama was President. When I was deployed with about 10k or more military we all are and lived off of a KBR contract that the budget/taxpayers money was paid to provide. I don’t know how much housing cost but I know it was like $27 everytime you signed into the dining facility even if you just wanted a drink. The contract KBR was owned by$#%&!@*Cheney so if that’s not a conflict of interest I don’t know what is. He basically paid himself by us being at war. Look it up!!
