The day the towers fell I was already thinking that buildings only fall straight down by controlled design. I believe they were built that way given their location in the event they had to come down. Was it brought down intentionally? I believe that in planning an emergency that someone knew they would have to sacrifice occupants to save adjacent buildings and their occupants. Yes I believe both towers were brought down to save more lives.
