NC State University Docks Grades For Using Commonplace Term

Freedom of speech now means freedom from speech…say nothing.

Instead of simply asking students to be polite, they are instead shackled with amazing restrictions. Students will be marked down if they write ‘mankind’ in North Carolina State women’s studies class.

A women’s and gender studies lecturer at North Carolina State University is actually downgrading students’ for using “sexist language” in class assignments. That means using any reference to gender.
What’s sexist? “Generalized pronouns,” according to a portion of a syllabus obtained by The College Fix.
